We nearly lost Eleanora at 28 weeks due to serious pre-term labor, but luckily both Eleanora and I were able to withstand this stress and she continued to beat the odds (little did we know). At that time, however, I did know that having her so early would end her life and so from that point on, we celebrated her birthday every Thursday. This tradition continues today. Happy 5th Birthday Eleanora!
We're sending our 5th birthday wishes to little Eleanora Claire, the most remarkable little person, it seems. She has a most remarkable family! Embracing and enjoying life, in every little way. Sharing her story is overwhelming for me, and beautiful! Eleanora has most everything a girl could wish for and needs, doesn't she? A couple loving sisters, a beautiful mommy and strong loving daddy. And doggies?!!! She knows how lucky she is and her ability to stay with you for over 40 days is testament to the fact that she's truly cherishing every moment, too. Our lives continue to go on and she's been in our thoughts from the moment we heard about her. Angel in our midst...I know another little Angel in our midst...perhaps some moment they'll meet........

Eleanore is a treasured gift that pulls at my heart, and she teaches me the value of life. Just reading your updates has taught me the value of the moment, and remember to treasure each day. Eleanore opens my heart and spirit so that I think to give back to people in tiny ways during each day to show that they are precious. You have given us your life with Eleanora; this is an extremely brave and powerful act. Eleanora teaches me to search for her goodness in those around me. At times, this isn't always easy. This blog has been a treasure. Your girls have sprinkled glitter all over me so that I sparkle and glow. That is very special.
